Dinners in the Dark

Sensory Dinner in the Dark OQS

Imagine a space in complete darkness where you will eat a delicious three course dinner* where all your senses are awakened and emotions are your guide to a sensory adventure.

Darkness allows all labels and prejudices to be left aside. Speaking and listening become the essential ingredients to allow for a more empathetic and horizontal communication.

This experience aims to guide participants to a space where they will discover the potential of their senses in the absence of sight. Where an everyday activity such as eating is transformed into an experience full of reflections, learning and surprises.

*It can be breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Beer Tastings in the Dark

Together with Primus Brewery and La Graciela restaurant we have created a unique experience where participants discover aromas, textures, flavors and the elaboration process of first quality Mexican beers

It’s an ideal event for small groups that want to have fun in an original way, while at the same time contributing to the mission of SOE.

Testimonies

"Experiencing a Dinner in the Dark with Eyes that Feel has been incredible, congratulations to the entire team that served dinner! I think there were around 180 people at the event and the guides were very efficient. Knowing that we all have different abilities has been another powerful and moving experience to bring home. Being blind is not the worst, the worst is not being blind and not being able to see".

"I’ve never heard so much and so deeply. When something is limited, something else is enhanced, I didn’t see with my eyes but I could see with the rest of my senses".

"Today’s lunch has been one of the most transformative experiences that I’ve had. The ability to put yourself in another person’s shoes and experience what it means to be a human being in a different way. The ability to connect in that space was amazing."
